Fibre-optic Cabling
The technicians at Online have a vast experience in a wide range of fibre-optic systems, including: OM3 Multi-mode fibre, Single-mode fibre and blown fibre systems to name a few.
Online has it's on equipment, in fact we have 3 fusion splicers. We only fusion splice our fibre, unlike other companies that have to hire equipment and terminate by inferior and higher loss methods. The team are fully trained in installation, termination, splicing and testing techniques and have the certification to prove it.
Once we have completed our installation, we have all our own leading edge fibre testing and certifying equipment. Our skilled technicians can test your fibre cable network against the current standards with the latest cable scanning and certifying equipment and drill even deeper and test to a much higher and more detailed level with our Fluke OF-500 OptiFiber Tier 3 certifying fibre OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer).

Trenching and Ducting
Online's skilled team design and install external, underground duct systems. This includes trenching, ducting manholes, pits and reinstatement services.
Conduit and perimeter trunking pathways
Sometimes it is impossible to hide cabling within walls and cavities, so the alternative is to install conduit and/or trunking. The team at online has the expertise to selection and install these products to a high level of finish.
Cable Tray Systems
The best type of cabling pathway for bulk cabling is cable tray.
Cable tray comes in many different styles and options including tray and cable basket. The installation team installs this predominantly in the ceiling cavity, however cable tray and especially cable basket is a very suitable cable pathway under computer room floors.

Electrical Services
Often when our design team is planning an installation we find that often where we are installing outlets there is no power outlets. As part of our service we have electricians available for all manner of works so we can remedy these issues and modify your electrical system in co-ordination with our cabling works. Our services include electrical outlets, lighting and UPS installation to name a few.
Manufacturer Leads
When installing an cabling system, it is important to make sure the complete system performs to its highest level. The best way to do this, especially with systems of category 6 and above, is to ensure you use only leads manufactured by the same manufacturer as the cabling system. These leads are readily available and can be purchased for all category ranges for copper cabling and all types of fibre-optic cabling.
When these leads are purchased to work with a cabling system that is covered by a performance warranty the leads are included. A prudent investment indeed!

Manufacturer Warranty
When you invest in a cabling system, you expect it to perform, not just today, but for the long term.
Online is able to provide Manufacturer warranties for a range of cabling system manufacturers which warranty the complete system to perform to it's installed level for 20-25 years (depending on manufacturer).
