Health and safety is a big part of what we do. Our team has formed a robust H&S system and work culture. Central to this is our app-based system Site App Pro (SAP) accessible by the complete team.
Every Online staff member has full access to SAP which includes all our forms and documentation, check-in and check-out, and health and reference documentation. SAP is a cloud-based system, therefore is monitored by the H&S leadership team and project managers in real time.
Online has designed a customised system to match our business needs and is not a generic folder of forms. Online considers its system to be a living document and as such is constantly being reviewed and adjusted by team input and participation.
Each business partner of Online has agreed to meet the requirements of Online’s H&S management plan including minimum training and competency requirements, reporting and communication responsibilities.
Our health and safety system and evidence of it in use has been reviewed by a third party (SiteWise) and as such achieved the highest rating (Gold 100%) achievable for the last five years. Additionally, Team Online has attained +IMPAC Prequal certification, independently confirming Online's H&S systems and practices.
Online completes projects on construction sites on a daily basis and is fully conversant with the expectations of construction companies and clients alike in regard to health and safety.
Online completes projects in some very site-specific clients and locations such as: meat works, wind farms, railway stations, the InterIslander fleet, supermarkets, schools, blast freezers, water towers and prisons to name a few as evidence of our ability to meet each client's specific H&S requirements.
All installation staff have current (mandatory):
- Site Safe Foundation Passport
- MEWP (Motorised Elevated work Platform) Certification
- St John’s First Aid Certificate L1
- In-house documented competency for Ladders, Mobile Scaffold and MEWP.
- +IMPAC PREQUAL Certification
All Project Managers have current (mandatory):
- Site Safe Foundation Passport
- Risk Management Certification
- In-house documented competency for Ladders, Mobile Scaffold.
Some have:
- MEWP (Motorised Elevated work Platform) Certification
- St John’s First Aid Certificate L1
- NZ certificate in Workplace H&S Practice L3

The complete team participates in the ongoing improvements to our current system. All team members are fully encouraged to participate and communicate in all aspects of Health & Safety and most importantly have the mandate to stop work at any time if they feel that whatever they are doing, or the situation they are in or about to be in is not safe or healthy.
